I don't care for movies of this nature. It's not that I am afraid of scary movies, but I don't like to see children portrayed in such a way in movies. Suggesting that a child is murderous, deceitful is appalling and placing child actors in such roles is as equally appalling. I have seen it too many times in movies such as The Good Son, Pet Semetary, and others and children have a hard enough time whereas their innocence and safety are concerned. It's no wonder so many child actors fell into drug abuse and Lord knows what else. And to portray them in such a way and call it entertainment is sick and beyond twisted.

I am watching this for the first time. I don't know why I held off so long. But it's so endearing. I can relate to Molly because I endured loss at a young age and my world was radically changed. I think this was a refreshing role for Ray Liotta; while I was never a big fan it is nice to see him outside some of the shader characters he has played. But Whoopi Goldberg just melts my heart in this. Just so warm and such a breath of fresh air in the life of Molly and her father.

I just LOVE this movie! So heartwarming and indicative of the true human condition of love. I just wish they would have been able to have it forever.

I liked the new version better. This was too slow and didn't make sense. I thought he was supposed to have come back after the babysitter but it just seemed to go downhill after the initial attack

While I always like to see good triumph over evil, it bothers me to see children used in roles such as this. It's no wonder our youth are so troubled when all they seem to be exposed to is violence.

Such a cute feel good movie! Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson are so good on screen together and it's nice to see something that gives hope to the world.

This is the most raunchy and poorest excuse of scare flick. Nowhere near the class and the effect of the original and Rob Zombie's version. Just an utter disaster

I'm about halfway through it but as big of a fan of Stephen King as I am, I just can't get anything out of it. I haven't read the book but I have seen many of his screen adaptations and felt most were great, with the exception of Pet Semetary. The use of a young child for such a macabre subject was more than I could handle. The book was hard enough. I love Julianne Moore and the setting of Lisey's Story as well as the eerieness but beyond that left me to regret signing up for Apple tv + to watch it. And all the gore surrounding Amanda's self cutting (what was up with that chic?) really was unsettling for me as I used to be a self cutter when I was younger. Just not impressed with this at all.
