Despite all the arrogantly negative reviews, this is a beautiful adaptation and leaves you with the sense you've finished an exquisite book. It does everything right, humor, love, sorrow.. Many mock the sort of inner monologue but I adore it, Dakota does it wonderfully. Of course not every film suits everyone, but I hope the right people watch and delight in this astounding work of art.
