I thought that this book had a very strong start and even though it moved a little to slow for my taste, it had a great middle. It had good dialogue, good characters, good fights, and very surprising twists. But once it gets to the end where everything is set up and you are very excited because the climaxes in this series have been good so far, in my opinion it messes up hard. The ending had everything going for it and it was about to be my favorite book in the series no doubt, but then when the ending happened it ruined the book for me. The characters didn’t act like themselves, the fights were underwhelming, and it went on longer than I think it should have. It felt as if she just wanted to be done with this series and knew how she wanted to end it, so she just did whatever she had to do that she could get there. And even though it had some good character moments, I feel as it most of the problems could have been easily avoided and it could have been great. Also it started to pick back up near the end of the climax, and just undid what I thought was by far the best choice made and the best ending. Overall it had a good but start, a slow but really good middle, and an at best disappointing ending. So read it if you want but just know the ending won’t be up to par with the rest of the book.
