Midsommar was very bad. The entire movie was boring as hell, had little to no story/plot, and I couldn’t make sense of much in the movie. It’s rare that I watch a movie that I don’t like or that I don’t finish, but I was tempted to leave the theater. They really know how to make time go by slow because I spent most of the time during the brutal 2.5 hours waiting for it to be over. Something that confuses me is how most reviews are talking about how creepy the movie was, but in reality this movie was very mild compared to other movies in the thriller/horror genre. Another thing that REALLY confuses me is how this movie received a score of 80%+ on Rotten Tomatoes. Although the movie was very cinematic there was really else good about this movie, it seems a little fishy...just don’t waste your time with this one.
