Decent series with interesting plot.
First off... This is nowhere close to a faithful adaptation of any Satyajit Ray story. It takes the basic plot points as a skeleton and makes the rest of the story by itself.
The themes are utterly massacred and at best the stories are stolen. I wouldn't call this an adaptation. It's like adapting "home alone" as a slasher.
Overall this still an interesting series. The cinematography is ok. It has some interesting shots but it overuses most of them until they're boring and predictable.
It's nothing great. It gets boring at times due to its slow pace. Even during the climax in some cases.
The third short was my favourite. It's the only true adaptation I'd say. It follows Satyajit Ray to his core. The themes all match up and it's as faithful as I'd expect.
The only reason this show isn't a 3 star is because of the interesting plots set up by the talent of Satyajit ray. It's only good as a one time watch however.
Reccomended for a lazy afternoon.
