First episode was good, 2nd not so much. I’ll watch the 3rd to see if it hopefully improves.

Wow. Can’t understand the hype for this series. There is no chemistry between the two main characters. The inconsistency surrounding her magic is painful to bear. One scene she protects herself using magic, the next scene she’s almost killed and someone else intervenes. The detestable journey back in time where she needs to find the book of life and also learn/practice her magic skills is nearly all comprised of finding the book with very little time spent on honing the magic. These episodes in S2 are so drawn out and boring that I had to stop watching it. If the title has witch in it there absolutely needs to be substantial attention giving to magic. How did this show get on the air?

I did not care for the main character, Nadia, at all. Who made the choice of this character acting and talking like a female Andrew Dice Clay, was definitively wrong in their choice. She’s not likable at all and it’s difficult to listen to her. The Alan portion is the best storyline of the entire series but is also the smallest part of the series. Not much of a comedy since Nadia’s lines are not humorous at all.

This show is so predictable. It’s just another western. I keep watching because, surely, it will take off once they get where they’re going and start building what has become the Yellowstone empire. However, it’s harder each week to stick with because of the Elsa character. She is so annoying from her awful drawl to just being senseless. I have to mute the tv during the narration as it only takes away from the story. Tim McGraw is great in this show. I think he makes a great James Dutton, as does Faith Hill in her role as a strong woman. Keep the focus there. After all it was James’ vision for his family's journey, not Elsa’s antecdotes. The narration is simply, awful. It bings down the whole story.
