Great adaption. The sets were beautiful, and there was the right amount of manic anime energy, pathos, and scifi moments. And the overarching plot and the episodic subplots were well integrated. Great casting, great characters, great story world - it deserved a second season.

4 - 5 stars for season 1& 2, but show started to stall in season 3 becoming repetitive and the animated experience of Groundhog Day with the same plot, jokes, and scenes replayed (almost) every episode - the characters experience little growth, Marinette becomes a ‘stalker’ and borderline mean girl, and the rest of the characters appear to be idiots.
