I never write reviews. This is the only time I will do so, and god, do I have a lot to say.
This doc was absolutely stunning, captivating, and just perfectly put together.
It was planned, not rushed, and I enjoyed the idea that it was a limited series available on Netflix. I have watched quite a few documentaries, but non have made me as interested at this one.
The story line was perfect, and I appreciate that all the information was given, rather than just talking about a killer, their life, their crimes, and last but not least, jail.
This documentary brought us real far back. I don’t mean Luke’s childhood and how he got where he is today. I mean how Joe and Deanna came together, how they solved this huge puzzle, and how they dealt with it all.
The 3 part idea worked out pretty well, honestly. I didn’t have much of an issue with it, although I did find that each episode was awfully longer than I would’ve preferred. Altogether, the documentary was about 3 hours. It’s not exactly how I would’ve liked to spend my night, but I don’t regret watching this doc at all.
I have no doubt in this mind, that the end, was absolutely brilliant. I know a lot of people have a problem with us being, “blamed,” and all that, but they’re not wrong. WE are the reason bullying happens. WE are the reason our society is so messed up. WE are the problem, and being addicted to our looks and phones, (or machines as it’s called) doesn’t help.
I don’t see any reason as to why people complain about this documentary.
Just be aware. DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT watch this documentary if you cannot deal with violence, crime, or animal cruelty. It might get a little messy if you do.
Otherwise, I recommend watching this! Maybe try not to binge watch it all in 3 hours, but if you do, it’s ok😌
5 stars all the way💓
