Probably shouldn’t have named this Mulan because it’s nothing like any of the original stories. And the plot of the story and the characters were all completely changed from any of the original stories. I actually did a language arts unit on the original stories of Mulan a couple years ago and none of them mentions Ti Chi being the main plot of the story. They should’ve just renamed the main character and called it Ti Chi or something, it would’ve made more sense that way lol

This movie left many things unsolved, by the end of the movie I was terribly confused and disappointing. The ending was terrible. Like for one it was barely about things that come out at night. It was mostly about a disease. The only part that was really about the thing that comes out at night was the dog scenes. It also didn’t explain on how the dog even got back in the house afterwards. And it didn’t explain on how the infection started and how it was related to the things that came out at night. If things were actually fully explained in this movie I would give it a better review. It’s also not like the movie was too long already, it was only about 90 minutes.

Amazing movie, I disliked the ending though. I was looking for more movies with Logan Miller in it and found this movie, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
