Beautifully dark and moody. I was fascinated with watching it, but came away with the thought I had just wasted my time. Needs major revision of story line, cut the bunny death scene in half and drop the zombie that shows up at the end of the movie for no reason. Needs a better framework to display the brief story.

I was happy to see this was on HBO Max because I am a big fan of The Staircase, also done by the same filmmaker. Unfortunately it was pretty unwatchable due to the fact that there's a running commentary about what's on the screen starting with HBO logo, and the "static" behind it. I tried to watch, but when we got to the point where the dialogue was done by a male (even the part of the teenage girl) and the commentary overlaid the dialogue in a valley girl voice, it became impossible to watch.
