I was impressed by the dedication of character Ravi from West Godavari district AP towards his motivated classmate Rishi. As a defining moment in this film Maharshi, Ravi sacrifices his entire life to move forward life of a power-player, aspiring entrepreneur and a wounded soul Rishi. Two of the supporting cast have added heartful laughter. Desperate journalist Priidhvi keeps thinking "Will CEO Rishi invest INR 6000 Crore in Coastal Andhra?". There is bumpy tumbling game company programmer Vidyu Lekha Raman explaining a certain profitable game to CEO Rishi. This film became a lovely entertainer with quality work of technical department. Art Production by Vaishnavi Reddy is highly supportive in spreading the Andhra Pradesh atmosphere and opening up a telugu connection with New York.

Director Wolfgang Petersen brought the 1991 Massachusetts north atlantic perfect storm situation as a living memory reflection. The atlantic drags the fishermen by storm. The fishermen whose lives were built on the ocean side take the calamity with display of courage. These events form the movie narration - The Perfect Storm (2000). The ocean life, trecherous ocean weather and fishing boat outings have surfaced so realistically in this film. I loved the brilliant vfx and audio effects when I watch it on big screen. Big applaud!

This film is a quick and short tale of racy events amidst a country vacation. The River Wild (1994) by Universal studios is a well narrated crisis drama that put light on american mother's life. For Gail Hartman, it's a familiar routine to go white water rafting in Montana, Idaho wilderness. But it's something a surprise for Boston father Tom and young son Roarke to live a 3-day rough water journey. Nature and audience will witness a deep bonding, a sense of togetherness that the father and son had for their mother as they battle out trouble with abandoned thugs. It's a good work from academy award winners Meryl Streep, Robert Elswit and Jerry Goldsmith.

8mm (1999) bring forth a rare crime motive and it's deep-root investigation. Director Joel Schumacher must have been shaken by the people who witness a dangerous world of illegal pornography. There is gripping, involved and controlled emotion in Tom Welles that lead audience to place of crime and source of such crimes. Nicolas Cage delivered an impressive performance as investigator Tom Welles, tracking those culprits in New York. Myra Carter as Mrs. Christian create a huge impact on the movie outcome with her portrayal of a law-abiding rich woman.

The Guardian (2006) stays in my DVD library with genre - Honoured officers. There are many commanding moments in the film that showcase responsibility, regime, authority, mentorship, discipline and unending practice. Script writer Ron L. Brinkerhoff has described the character Ben Randall (US Coast Guard AST rescue swimmer) in a way that move audience to probe his background, his paused up domestic life, and ultimately watch his call-of-the-duty records. A great applaud to director Andrew Davis and cinematography lead Stephen St. John for keeping the narrative bright, well paced and upbeat. Cheers!
