Fine acting, realistic dialogue, and appropiate sets in another depressing story of a wierd misunderstood rich kid, a teacher who has failed to write his book, an instiutionalized dad, and a mom who is off in Europe during a holiday. Why was this made and all this talented acting wasted? And why do critics keep going for this stuff?

Excellent script and acting that slowly develops to a fine ending.

Stick with this, it gets better as it moves to the later episodes. The final episode rises well above what one expects of tv.
