This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read, and I have read a lot of books. I won't spoil it, but it's one of the saddest, depressing, and beautiful books that has ever been written. Words cannot describe how well this book is written, with the emotion that this book contains overflowing it. It shows the mind of a grieving 13 year-old and his path to acceptance, with a "monster" helping him through it. Great, 1000/1000 book. Not a shred of hesitancy to rate this 5 stars.

This is a good book, but it seems like the author was in a rush at the end of it, all the conflict doesn't really add to anything, and it just ends abruptly with no real end. *SPOILER* I don't think that having the main character just move away with his girlfriend and friend is a good ending, nothing is uncovered.
