Loved the first two books. This felt like a bridge book with very little resolution or forward progress. Love the dialogue when characters interact and love the dragons but felt there was a lot of darkness in this one and far less light.

Love the concept and the world/school, but Bloom is so caught up in her personal angst and irritable, moodiness that she is completely impossible to root for. The relationships could be a strength, but the writers ignored any real relationship building, or positive character development. Terra and the empath do have a bit of depth. Bloom, however, remains one dimensional, foolish and easily deceived in her self pity. I want to love this show but weak minded heroines are annoying.
