Want to like it, but every scene with Ellen Page grinds to a halt. She's like Smalls; she's killing me -- with her acting. Her hangdog demeanor gives the other actors, particularly Robert Sheehan's turn as Klaus, nothing to work against. And, that is to the series' shame. Sheehan is kind of reprising the DGAF character, Nathan, that stole the show in "Misfits." Like Misfits, this derivative superhero opera could be a breakout hit. But, it seems like nearly every scene is run through Page.
Unfortunately, the producers felt they needed a "name" actor and doubly unfortunately Page was available.
