Ayushmann’s Dream Girl has its moments. But the movie is laden with plot holes and inconsistencies. Some stretches felt unnecessary and seemed only like space fillers. This movie rides on the shoulders of Ayushmann, Annu Kapoor and Abhishek Banerjee, who have all delivered outstanding performances. Manjot Singh has delivered a stellar performance as well. There are enough gags to keep you going through the boring patches. For the most part you aren’t left with a feeling of disdain, but it does linger around in the nether regions of your brain. But when you do walk out, there is a feeling of satisfaction because of how well the movie ties up in the end. I’d rate this film at 7/10 and recommend at least a watch.
