Most reviews are lies. The game is essentially two games. The first part is an origin story. That is a 6 out of 10. The second part is an Elden Ring Experience that is actually a 10 out of 10.

Trying to rewrite history and change the canon of the games.

I’m about to see it for my second time in IMAX 3D. If you haven’t seen it in this format, do yourself a favor and go to IMAX 3D. It’s a masterpiece of technology. It’s worth the price to see the entire work of art. Proper 3D is hard to produce and easy to take for granted. The previews don’t give away the actual “soul” of the movie. There is so much more to Alita. The motivations for characters’ actions are relatable. There are reasons Alita chose to join the Rollerball games, had to fight some fights alone, and is willing to give her heart. There are also reasons her eyes are bigger and Alita looks “engineered”. The action and acrobatics are amazing. Alita is an incredible fighter. The pace is well thought out. The flashbacks help a lot. The moments of humor are well placed. Especially after the “Heart” moment. I love when movies make me a fan of the source material for the first time. I never knew about Alita before seeing this. The movie was so good, I started to reach out on the internet to see more. This is extremely well adapted to the 90s Manga. The critics are going to lose the battle with fans regarding ratings.
