Lovely re-imagining of the Anna Sewell classic. I found it deeply emotional, artistic and particularly enjoyed the slow motion scenes, very evocative and spiritual. Brilliant photography!
As with many films of this nature, the animals seem have more human qualities than their two-legged counterparts and this made some scenes difficult to watch.
However it is in my opinion, worthy of 5 stars as it is a beautifully made film and well-acted by a great cast. Nice music soundtrack too by Guillaume Roussel.
