Laurence Wedderburn

Brilliant portrayal of a suburban family of the 1960's through the eyes of midddle school pubescent boy Kevin with the angst of friends in general, and girls in particular. Of caring secure home life despite a sometimes bulling older brother, and free-spirited older sister. Of Kevin and his primary "crush" Winnie Cooper, of Kevin and his loyal friend allergic unathletic classmate friend Paul.

I am watching - dilgently - reruns of this sadly long departed drama series. Judge Amy & Maxine Childcare Worker believeably handle complex crises with which they are confronted - with sensitivity and respect for all parties. Furthermore, the mutual love and regard displayed by the family: Mother, daughter, granddaughter sets the standard for a true family I(warts & all). I feel similarly about the the family of Blue Bloods who have this unassailable strong bound one with the other.
