Luis Penick

Personally I thought this movie was boring at times. I thought certain plot threads were focused on to much and probably could have been cut. I think that is reflected in the screen time of 2 ours and 38 minutes. I don't think this story needed to be so long. There were too many fade in cuts too. This film tells the story is in a fairly conventional way which isn't a negative in anyway but also keeps it from being a masterpiece. The good far exceeds the bad. The performance of the actors was excellent, cinematography for the most part was excellent, and the characters were quite compelling. I liked the theme and the film somewhat resonated with me which scares me a little bit. I think some might enjoy the other plot threads more than me. Give this one a watch.
