According to may view point this movie isn't much of success.for beginners and as a movie. that is OK but, i watched the Pokemon series so that point of view,they just introduced the Pokemon.But i didn't play the Pokemon detective Pikachu. i suggest that this movie don't have Pokemon battles much,so this movie have their moves and powers that would be great.their uniqueness won't show from this series. as movie that is ok
