This is a great documentary series that explains in great detail and clarity how the different Earth features were formed using scientific evidence. I am always looking for documentaries that contribute to increase my knowledge, and this is one of the best documentary series on science that I have ever seen. It has really opened my eyes to the importance and beauty of geological science, and has turned me into a geology fan. IMHO, these documentaries that explain the history of the world from a geological point of view do not contradict in any way the christian faith. I am christian catholic, and by attending to biblical courses in my church I have learned about the theological truth that God created the universe that we live in, and how that message was transmitted by God to us in the Bible. I have also received from church teachings that true science goes hand in hand with the true christian faith, and that they do not contradict, but are rather complementary and can coexist harmoniously. Both science and faith look for the truth, but both view truth from different points of view and find truth using different methods. For me, this documentary series that show truths using scientific evidence can and should be a valid and informative source of truth for a true christian.
