This movie was great! It's based off of stories around that time. The actor who played Uncle Remus was fabulous. This is simply a work of art and should be viewed as art. I remember watching it as a child in a special matinee performance. We went on a church trip. All of us came home singing those songs wishing we had our own Uncle Remus to tell us stories.
