This show is a tragedy of first loves. That he runs away, almost marries someone else, but one look at that face which killed him inside was enough to throw him off balance again. I found both their stories so raw. This girl, who cannot understand what love is, she loved him but couldn't stay faithful. She eventually gets married but I'd like to think, again, there was no love there. The only time she truly understands what love is, is when she has her own child. And unfortunately, life happens. How horrid is it that everything seems under control for one second can always and never truly be?! This is the reality. That Seo Kang Joon's character decides to stay by her side at the end, decides to give up marriage for the sake of being there for the woman he loves, that's the biggest demonstration of love if there ever was. If this was an American show, he'd have married the other girl and Esom and him would stay friends. But this is Asia, and in Asia, that stuff doesn't happen. He knew his heart is with another woman, and knowing that, he could not promise to keep his fiance his number one anymore. The fact that Esom's character just quietly accepts his sacrifices.. that was a bit mean of her. But again, being selfish, that is real life. :/
