Bad, It's bad. The deviants were just a distraction from the main plot of the story, which was the emergence of a celestial. The main plot of Eternals is just the eternals working under the celestials to make the emergence happen, which is a birth of a celestial. Instead, they focus most of the movie on unnecessary fillers such as historical flashbacks of places like Mesopotamia or the Mayans and Aztecs. It was super unnecessary and only delayed the inevitable for longer. Don't even start on the s*x scene, just pointless. Most of the movie, you can see the eternals helping celestials wipe out deviants and assisting humans in their advancements. They focus so much on the deviants but end up casting the creatures aside all of a sudden and then wham! Goodbye celestial. Thena could've been cooler, but they gave her brain damage. I felt like they tried too hard with the diversity, even though I don't have anything against it, I feel like they were trying to attract everyone to the movie with their diverse cast. They should've focused on the plot more.
Especially the part where Ikaris flew into the sun. I get that he's guilty but what????
