Pretty disappointing, although there was great footage throughout the series, it was obvious that they put all of their effort of restoring the footage into the first episode to get people hooked. They skipped over key/important moments of the war, reused the same footage, the writing and direction of the series was all over the place at points, and by far one of the most annoying/hilarious thing to me was the same sound effect they used for every gun in the series from machine guns, rifles, anti air, and so on. If you have no prior knowledge of ww2 and want a very basic introduction then this is a good series for you, but if you are already well versed in ww2 and have understanding of the history around it, this series adds little to nothing.
