The film falls flat on what it sold out to for the last month or so. The film has to work in totality. The music, background score, photography & cinematography can be appreciated in parts, but the movie works if the story, screenplay and lines are worth it. In 2.5 hrs, you barely find 15-20 min of sincerity in this movie, unlike a Kapoor & Sons and Ek Main hun aur ek tu, which had way more depth than this Depth (Gehraiyaan). It has Posh people syndrome. Kapoor & Sons and Ek Main aur ek tu works despite more colors and brightness is because it was better story, screenplay and brilliant casting and acting done. Gehraiyaan, Deepika is good, but rest is just ...eh..and too much Hinglish is spoiling the tone!
