Very good book for those who are just starting out and needs guidance. The book gives you the information you'll need for shaping basic forms then goes into more details. I found the book to be well written. I recommend this book as a great resource for anyone starting out with throwing on a potters wheel. For an experienced potter this book is most likely going to be basic. But I would consider it a good buy because there is going to be a few tidbits even an experience potter will pick up.
