True to Jennifer Mathieu's book, MOXIE, the film is genuinely true to the story line and the characterizations. It addresses important gender inequities in a high school and shows how the Moxie girls were able to be supportive of each other and to earn the support of the worthy guys, too. Poehler saw the potential and both acted in and directed this fine film.

Strong story line, but -- more importantly -- lessons about connecting to nature in stunningly beautiful settings under the sea. Beautifully done!
