For Mortal Kombat movie it delivers. Gore, fatalities, and characters you know. The story is nothing to write home about, but its engaging. This is a popcorn film for fans. If you are looking for oscar material here your watching the wrong movie. Looking forward to any sequels the want to make. One criticism I’d make is Jax’s magic mechanical arms. That was just sillier than most other things in this movie that are already silly. I’d probably would have removed Cole and brought in Johnny, the movie would have worked exactly the same minus the wife and daughter.
