A testament to how great Breaking Bad was is the fact that you can have great spinoffs from the show, Better Call Saul and now El Camino. Some people will miss the old Jesse with his humorous antics and wise cracks. After being hold up and enslaved as a meth cooking monkey life has hardened this eternally immature character. Just like the transformation that occurred in Walt's life, Jesse too has transformed into a new person. It's as if he has graduated from Walt's Breaking Bad academy and lived. The scene with Walt towards the end of the movie shows the old Pinkman character as a send off to the next scene where he begins his new life. So if it wasn't for Walt then this new opportunity would not have occurred. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and the new Jesse is finally ready to take control of his life.
