I loved Zack Snyder's Justice League. It was everything I hoped for and more. I really hope WarnerMedia continues with this world on HBO Max. Either way, I'm very happy we got this movie. Worlds better than the theatrical version.
Even though the movie is much more violent than its theatrical, messy predecessor, it manages to be much more hopeful, emotional, treats the characters better, and is funnier.
Zack likes his slo-mo and it definitely shows, but that’s not a bad thing.
The Superman in this version may have a black suit, but he’s the most “Superman-y” we’ve ever seen Cavill. Ben Affleck’s Batman is more the Batman we know and love (not the weak idiot in the theatrical version). Gal Gadot was her best version of Wonder Woman - graceful and fierce, not weak or hyper-sexualized. Ezra Miller’s flash feels much more Barry Allen-like and has much better scenes that aren’t forced humor. Jason Momoa is Jason Momoa at his best. And finally, Ray Fisher IS Cyborg, and he’s the heart of the movie.
This is the only Justice League we should have seen.
