WOW! This movie was recommended by "My Favorite Murder" hosts Karen Kilgarrif and Georgia Hardstark. I would have missed this wonderful movie otherwise. Can a film about dementia be beautiful? Yes it can. You really need to follow along to try to understand the movie as it unfolds. That's part of its charm. It was beautiful and simple in its meaning. The ending brings it all together. I did however, need to google Jim's explanation of the ending. This is a movie that will stick with me long after I've watched it. I also loved the music choices. I watched it on HULU.

Boring, bland and wish I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Wow....just WOW. What first appears to be a somewhat comical movie with quirky Irish characters living on an island, soon turns into something much much deeper and darker. Every 15 minutes I'm trying to figure out "what's the message here?" It's a deep dive into loneliness and the monotony of living in a desolate place with few people to call friends. It's so much more that this so simply watch it and you'll see what I mean. There hasn't been a movie like it to my recollection and I consume a lot of content.

This one keeps you guessing just like it keeps Royal Abbot (Josh Brolin) guessing. I'm not a big sci-fi fan but am hooked on this particular show as it seems actually possible in many crazy ways. There are a lot of sub plots going on and I'm curious where they'll go and if it'll all ends up coming together. I have watched 6 episodes and so far I'm still enjoying the mystery.

The thing about Pam is that "The Thing About Pam" is a totally different way to tell a Dateline type story and adds some humor and campiness. Renee is spectacular as Pam. The music is spectacular and moves the story along. I don't find that it makes fun of murder, if anything it keeps the viewer interested until the end and the facts still come out. I hope they make more like this.

Brilliant writing. In this series you aren't as interested in the person killed but in the person left behind or the killer himself. Each episode is unique, funny and very entertaining.

Great insight into the many years of Joe's career. The acting is good and the cases interesting. Joe tells a good story with no fuss. I like that you also learn about his personal life and how it is affected by his career.

An interesting take on the Sherlock Holmes stories. There are supernatural elements and interesting plots in each episode. The acting is good and the costumes and backdrop are perfect for the storyline.

Exceptional writing and cast. What could be a very light and funny show, the writers decide to dig deeper into family and social issues and still deliver entertainment. How the Rose family comes to terms with their situation and how the town eventually accepts them is magical. Worth a watch and then a re-watch! Funnier the second time around.
