Well, ok it's not going to be a 5 star, but I think new and younger audiences will enjoy it. However the more mature, thinking movie goer who has seen the 1st one, its never going to compete. As other reviewers have mentioned, its lost that avant-garde cinematography with single frame sequences, the awe and wonderment, and kinda follows a lot of the marvel comic movie style. Most of all, what I feel it's lost is the Neo\Trinity chemistry. Acting is like a daytime soap romance, and the last scene resembled America Lampoon skit, as they both let out an awkward chuckle\laugh.
But like the Highlander movies, if you a fan, you gotta watch Matrix Resurrections.
