What a brilliant adaptation of Dicken’s works, with a superb cast to carry it off. The script writers deserve praise indeed. I found it compelling viewing, left with wanting more at the end of each episode. The sets and costumes were also excellent. That there are to be no further series, absolutely mystifies me - something so masterfully created surely deserves continuation, opposed to a lot of rubbish we are served up with.
