This is one awesome brilliant movie which you should go watch in theaters if you really appreciate good films and want them more. We have a tendency to praise Malayalam films but we dont extend the same support to similar Tamil movies which we ensure bombs at Box office due to lack of support. This movie is near perfect.Casting is brilliant.Almost all actors including even someone who is just there for few seconds for example a Nurse character or the guy at hospital blood bank/pharmacy shows that this director Elan is definitely someone to watch out for.Because only a good director can ensure that. Kavin's first half pair(Preity) acted more naturally than the second one(Aditi).Lal does good acting but in many places it seems a bit more artificial.But Geetha Kailasm as his mom is brilliant.Also the avtor who acts as Kavins friend(Gulabi) and Maran(Bhai Mama) act superbly.Maran shows he can pull off serious characters also. KAVIN is the STAR of this movie and he is just way too good in terms of emoting. Editing and Camerwork is also brilliant in this movie.There is some kind of old movie tint feel to the way the visuals look in this(At least for me) Besides director and Kavin , Yuvan Shankar's movie and BGM is a huge strength for this movie. The way they have used his old song for a critical portion is apt. Celeberate this movie in theaters if you want better films from Tamil.Dont just behave like arm chair critics who praise Malayalam movies but dont support when similar tamil films are made.

This is one of those movies which I never get bored of watching. I started cooking only after watching this movie.Jons character is something I really liked.Him the Kid and Martin are way too good in this film. It's got very good story line that involves family values, friendship , parenting , following your heart. It's a brilliant Feel Good movie and Its my go to movie whenever I feel a bit down.

Contrary to many Youyube reviewers views this movie is worth watching multiple times. Its a very good family story with excellent screenplay that does not bore you even for a moment. Vijay's show all the way.He single-handedly carries the story.He is superbly stylish in this movie.Costumes excellent in this movie. Vijay is just supremely entertaining in all aspects like Dance,comedy,emotions and Action scenes. I have seen the movie atleast 3 times since OTT release.Never get bored of it

It's hard hitting film which is very bold and direct given the subject of ' Caste based discrimination'. Director and Actor both deserve a big standing ovation just for taking up an important subject and I am sure that viewers would have been educated about what's the reality.And this fact is brilliantly woven as part of the story itself.The protoganist is a city bred Male from a priveleged upper caste becoming an IPS going to take charge with his own version about the Rural area that's more of romanticised account rather than reality. Through powerful narration of the story the director takes us through how caste based discrimination is ingrained in our society and continously being reinforced through dogmatic beliefs and texts to keep the power equation under status quo. Probably this is the only Indian Cop movie which does not involve even one scene of the Hero(cop)not bashing up anyone.He rather uses his Govt given authority just with empathy and honesty. It's not a movie.Its as if somebody had taken a slice of the current affairs in the country and made us see. Must watch.Everything about this movie is brilliant.
