I love this program. Haven’t seen season 3 yet. The appeal for me, frankly, is that the main character is weird: maybe a little OCD, single-minded; insensitive when focused on his obsession (the case) which is most of the time. And Ville Virtanen plays this role convincingly. I think he’s what “Monk” might have been like if that show was about a more serious personality. Yes many of the plot lines play out like you’d expect from a crime drama. What draws me to this drama is the interplay and tension that comes out just from the character conflict. I saw someone commented that the acting was deadpan; I don’t see that at all. I recommend you check it out.
