Gripping from the beginning, this is a milestone in this genre in Indian cinema. even though it tells four parallel stories, at no point does it feel rushed or lacking in nuance; most of the message is from the situation, not from the dialogues, hence in the best possible way it is open to interpretation in as many ways.. though the movie doesn't lack impactful scenes, the one that drove the point home for me was when his finger is stuck and he faces the reality of HIS OWN FINGER is more painful to him than another's life/death. it shows us our dark side - we all have it - and in acknowledging of it is the humbling that makes TRANSFORMATION possible, hence the name of the movie. masterful, color tones to screenplay and cinematography, direction to bgm to dialogues - it is a very high quality work. THIS is what makes me feel like the filmmaker has put their 100% FOR HIMSELF AND for his audience. as an Indian i am immensely proud of what Raj B Shetty has achieved in this movie, i'd put it in the list of best movies of 2024. i'd like for it to represent us at International platforms, coz yes, we've arrived.

If you're going either with the expectation of the Dark Knight or the other amazing masterpieces like A beautiful mind or the move on Alan Turing, you'll find the movie lacking. Yes the middle bit when the trinity was tested was amazing (cudve been more but still..), but it went downhill from there. There's no culmination punch, it becomes tepid and insipid. You leave feeling like it shudve been better. However, go without a huge expectation and likely it won't feel too much of a letdown.

the 4-star is relative to its prequel. i honestly liked CMJJ 2018 more than this one, for the reason that this one i feel is too much of wisdom-mix. so imagine the most impactful movies - Shawshank redemption, Joker, Kungfu panda - if ALL OF THEIR LESSONS were thrown together in one movie, it wud be more of a jumble than an impact. so while the teachings are in themselves stellar and not redundant - it is 10 too many for ONE MOVIE. much of this is bcz the climax feels not as punchy as CMJJ 2018. that said the emotional impact the movie conveys effectively about how our mind is our comfort-zone cage and one doesn't even know the extent of debilitation one is in, until one tries to get out. however it hasnt dampened my enthu for more sequels to this. DEFINITELY watch worthy.

after a long time watched something worthwhile in Indian cinema (NOT druggiewood). what a movie they made - each character shot the movie in the same costume they started in. whole focus was on the plot, storytelling, tight script, cinematography and it delivered big time. what an impact at the climax. all of us can identify ourselves somewhere in the lessons facing the different characters. joint family has been shown realistically without whitewashing and gets the point across. this movie strikes a chord with viewers at multiple levels and makes its point effectively, with balance of idealism/practicality.

i had left the last season mid-way and couldnt watch further, seeing their favoritism and agendas. so when it came back this time around expected them to have taken feedback from low trps last time and correcting it. instead, the FIRST PLACE they go to outside the kitchen is GOA, (at some church which they described at length, its history since 16th century) - bcz apparently it has been inhabited by number of INVADERS. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LOVE THEY HAVE FOR INVADERS. everything that is NOT INDIAN, NOT OF BHARAT is good. BHARAT has more than enough places which have great blend of cultures, especially if we go to border districts between states. but obviously for them it is more important to show portugese and other colonizers history and legacy WHICH IS NOTHING WORTH MENTIONING TODAY. itna detail me agar NETAJI SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE ke contributions bataye hote unke birth anniversary par, to kuch baat. what's even more disappointing is vikas khanna. he stands WITH the nonsense BY STANDING THROUGH THE NONSENSE. matlab successful hone ke liye SIRF SiCULAR hona zaruri hai. baki everything optional.
