I've decided to revisit my review and add a star as a hotfix for the constant crashing has been released however 1½ would be more suitable if that was an option.
Whilst the story is unique and entertaining, the game is frankly a unfinished and a disappointment, anyone saying otherwise is either in denial or had low expectations to begin with.
CDPR really overpromised and underdelivered, they stated that Night City would be the most believable city in any open-world game to date and stated that the city streets are bustling with crowds of people from all facets of life, all living their lives, with a full day/night cycle.
The fact is Night City feels empty, there is a distinct lack on NPC's and the AI in this game is by far the worst I've experienced in this generation. The AI is unreactive and feels like it was programmed in a total rush, I've completed the main story and I can tell that the side jobs aren't going to keep me entertained for long, I was hoping to find some fun in collecting and driving vehicles but the driving mechanics are clunky and dull so there isn't much point.
I would of been happy paying a maximum of £20 for this game, it feels like an ambitious indie game.
Pros:
Enjoyable story and fairy large world to explore
Cons:
Poor Performance, underwhelming combat, disappointing graphics, unreactive AI, repetitive feeling environment, police spawning and clunky driving mechanics
