I loved all the Pokémon games from the first generation game boy to the switch. But, I would have to say this game was a little disappointing after Pokémon let’s go. Pokémon let’s go brought forth a whole new Pokémon experience with the Pokéball controller. Being able to throw a Pokéball was a game changer for me and while I was glad they brought back wild Pokémon battles, I was really disappointed that they got ride of throwing the Pokéball. The skill I spent hours perfecting, why can we not battle the Pokémon to the point where it is appropriate to throw a ball then throw the ball. The creators also got ride of having your Pokémon partner walk along side you and their are a lot of cutscenes. I haven’t really dug into the game and I may have thousands of great things to say in 24 hours of game play but as of right now I am mourning for what seems like the death of my advancement in becoming a Pokémon trainer
