Ive always enjoyed this movie, however I’ve always thought it has some superfluous characters. Jeff Goldblums character has nothing to actually do in the story. Same for Linda Hunts Character.

I personally think this is one of the very best John Wayne -John Ford efforts !!!
They don’t try for forced comedy and the sentimentality is natural .... Good story , Good acting ... I wish the Calvary trilogy that was made before this had some of the same quality’s !!!! Highly recommend this movie !!!
