SPOILER ALERT!! Should you not wish to see spoilers, please look away now. A 7/10 in my opinion. The opening scenes see Captain Marvel rescue Nebula and Tony. Clint loses his family to the snap. Our remaining heroes find Thanos. Thanos informs them that he destroyed the stones. Thor kills Thanos by cutting off his head. After 5 years had then passed, Antman emerges from the quantum realm by chance. Iron Man (after initially refusing) and a new looking Professor Hulk devise a way for the remaining heroes to travel through the quantum realm to find the old stones and make a new gauntlet. The first two hours were extremely slow and had dragged on for quite a bit. In the second hour, we see Iron Man have an interaction with his late dad, Cap fight his past self, Thor (drunk and overweight) having a conversation with his mom and regaining Mjolnir from the past and Natasha dying by sacrificing herself. The plot thickens when present Nebula encounters her old self as well as the old Dark Order, 2014 Thanos and the old Gamora. Thanos is able to programme and read present Nebula's thoughts. Hulk wields a new Stark Infinity Gauntlet and reverses the snap successfully. In the final hour, Thanos and the Dark Order manage to get themself to 2023 (the present time in the movie). His plan is now to kill off the entire universe by using the Stark gauntlet. Thor, Cap and Iron Man fight Thanos. Cap finds himself being able to wield Mjolnir. Thor wields Stormbreaker. Thanos gets the upper hand and breaks Cap's shield in half. The revived avengers are teleported to the battleground to then join the battle. Cap yells Avengers Assemble. Thanos tries to have his amy kill off everyone. Iron Man kills off Thanos and his entire army with a snap and dies from the power of his own gauntlet. A funeral for Iron Man takes place. Cap reunited with Peggy in the 70's and came back to 2023 as an old man after returning all the stones to their original timelines. Vision, Heimdall and Loki were never revived. 2014 Gamora is on the run in 2023 as she is still partially evil and partially good, Thor joins the Guardians. The remaining Avengers carry on with their lives. No mid credit or end credit scenes. Next movie: X-men: Dark Phoenix Followed by: Spiderman: Far From Home Comments. Having watched Iron Man for my friend's 18th birthday, this was a good tribute to the original 6 Avengers and a very moving sendoff for Iron Man, Natasha and in a sense Cap too. However, it never came close to the standards set by Infinity War. I doubt any Marvel movie would come close. Farewell to Iron Man, Cap and Natasha. Thanks for the memories
