best movie ever. I've seen it 3 times now because it's so moving and the family dynamic is so relatable. All the characters remind me of a family member I know, especially the accurate range of personalities, faces, body shapes and skin tones. for different relatives! the art, colours, clothing fabric, backgrounds, music is on the mark. The message is good for both parents and kids watching it. The abundance of catchy, well composed songs make it feel as musically vibrant as the art itself, never letting the audience feel bored or disconnected (which may not be everyone's cup of tea but should be the case since it's for kids!). Encanto is human connection and family warmth distilled into a story!
