I think that this movie had pretty great CGI and scenery, however, I feel that it was all wasted on a movie like this. Let me tell you, the plot is extremely basic and feels like it was written by a middle school child. It’s very generic and basic, and the plot was carried out very poorly. [⚠️trigger warning: mentions of suicide⚠️] I also feel that a lot of the music was misused. For instance, there is a scene where Kelly is walking through the school hallway and her schoolmates stare at her in judgement. The song “Everything I Wanted” by Billie Eilish plays as the scene runs. Everything I Wanted is a song about suicide, however, Kelly is not suicidal and only gets bullied minimally. Overall, I didn’t like this movie, but it was fun to make fun of. It had a great concept with great acting in the movie, but was ruined by the general writing.

absolutely loved the movie. It brought so many emotions, it was a perfect sequel to the first movie. Cried multiple times, laughed multiple times, everything just fits perfectly. Loved the performance of all the actors, and to be honest Bill Hader deserved an oscar for the amount of emotion he put into his performance. On a scale of gazebos to january embers, I would give it "my heart burns there too," meaning an 11/10. I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves to get their heart racing.
