Where was the love story? The 2 leads were wonderful but the writing for their story was lame at best. Where was the passion for each other kept alive for 8 years. The ending with one scene for the lovers was such a letdown. That's why nothing matches the end of Crash Landing on You.

Same old same old. So they fall thru a sinkhole to another time slot. OK good and then what happens. Stale relationships - lots of angst and wrinkled brows. And from there on - Same old same old.

Too soft. Too unfocused. Too rambling. Good stories but lost in the mush of family life. Send the kid to college and do a real action show with a strong women. Queen is good but really wants a mom show with stories of how black women can succeed. That's not this genre. The action is not believable. And the dialogue is CBS 1990. And I really wanted to love this show as much as I loved the original and the really absorbing Denzel movies. This is not it. Revamp.

This tale of murder and angst is very compelling. However, my middling review is due to the plodding nature of the production. The pace is uneven and at time jolting. it is unclear how the young woman's murder occurred and what the actual cause of death was/is. Some scenes are too long some go nowhere and others are cut too soon. But I like and will watch till the hopefully dramatic conclusion.

I am watching the new anchor who in reporting the Nashville bomber's warning from his girlfriend. He went on to talk about what happens when law enforcement receives the same info about a Muslim man. A Muslim or Black man would be immediately watched and/or brought in for questioning. But not a White man. The new anchor has my ear. Joline LaMond Senior White woman
