Words can't describe such an experience.

Very few games come close to the atmosphere of Bloodborne, and probably none match its gameplay. The Witcher III remains the closest game to my heart but Bloodborne makes its combat look childish and arcadey.

Please ignore the dated combat system as this game offers something that few others do. A rich, well-written story, an atmosphere that is simply breathtaking and a plot comparable to some of the greatest movies ever made. The ending is a psychedelic trip on its own. Highly recommended game from a great game developer even in 2020.
