I would have rather not gone to see this with my mother. Thank god we didn't go on Christmas as others did. This movie is the most chaotic thing I've ever seen on film. Just when you think it's calming down, it doesn't. Is Adam Sandler great, yes. Is this movie one bad decision after another, yes. Was I glad when it was finally over, yes. Does great art cause a strong reaction? Usually. Just prepare yourself that this movie is fifty times more intense and loud than the trailer.
