I usually don't cry but...This movie made me cry. The criticism I mostly heard: was why 'Starr' didn't speak up sooner. But I personally like the fact they didn't make her do that because it gave the audience time to feel the frustration with her. The excuses just kept piling and piling...She had her image at school on the line, her family, her relationship with the bf, her future for college, the death of her best friend, and more all in one. And on top of that, she had not just one but two best friends killed from opposite sides of the party. So with this, she realized that it was not the 'hate you give' but the 'hate we give.'
