I loved the original, and I was so excited to see it was getting a modern remake. Unfortunately, this one seems to lack any semblance of logic in the way the return is handled. Additionally, it's completely missing any deep character development or motivation for anyone, the good and the bad guys. It appears as if a 7yr old rewrote the original based on the IMDb synopsis. I will give it a few more episodes, but so far, the best part of this one was getting me to watch the original. The writers of this show forgot that the people watching it may be even moderately intelligent. I will say the actors are mostly fantastic in this new version, especially given the content the writers have given them to work with.
