Meh....I learned a lot about what was happening as technology developed and more importantly what film makers in other countries/countinents....thank you...but the film was overrun with linking a clip of a fairly recent film to some technique employed by ...what they stated was a pioneer in i.e. lighting, editing, etc.......I just didn't see most of the connections...yeah some were easy...off centered, slow motion, etc. The narrators voice was like taking a valium.....It felt like it was a college film history course at the start but I couldn't watch more than 60 minutes at a time and at the end I was looking ahead to find out how many more episodes do I need to endure. Sorry. I really wanted to like this film.

i thought it was overated. Frankly, i cared nothing about the characters. wh3n I leave the theater not caringvabout characters it is a bad sign. Characters half developed. could not wait until it was over
